The Windsock at the South side was replaced and the Blanik new towing equipment arrived!
Thanks Windsock Team, great teamwork! The new towing gear will be great but please still walk the wing when getting close to obstacles or in windy conditions. All dents happen on the ground!!!

Texas Cross Country Soaring Series at SCOH last weekend!
Simon and Kirk prepared well for their first XC adventure at a different airport and earning their WeGlide Nomad Badge. We all had a great time soaring with clouds on Saturday and “blue” on Sunday flying tasks for all experience levels with a minimum of 30 and maximum of 200 miles. Our SCOH friends joined us and shared their soaring stories at the evening dinner Frank and Chris grilled for us.
The new windsock is installed! Thanks gentlemen :)

Landon Crain completed his Silver Distance today flying to SCOH in our ASW-19. CONGRATULATIONS!
Landon says “Was super fun, but a little tough in blue skies”. Manolo towed him back!
The GHSA racing team finished strong in the R10 Contest. Louis McIntire 1st in Sports and Mike Brooks 3rd in Club Class. Together we flew 4,152miles :)
Pablo, Frank, Manolo, Mike, Uwe, Louis, and Gordon
Newbies Pablo and Manolo switched flying their new LAK 17a every day with no problems finishing the challenging tasks. We all learned a lot from talking to the other pilots, flying together and understanding contest tactics and our flight computers much better. We had an awesome soaring week. Join us next time.
