Congratulations Landon Crain to your solo flight....! We are proud of you.
Congratulations, Landon, on a well deserved first solo! He did very well. Everyone on the ground was quite impressed by how smooth both of his landings were. His whole family was out there to watch and take pictures. Well done!
The best part was on his very first solo when he got off at 2000 feet he found himself in a kettle with hundreds of Broad-wing hawks! He had never seen them before and to meet up with them on his first solo certainly made it a memorable experience. I told him they were there to welcome him, telling him that you are one of us now! How cool is that?
