The Greater Houston Soaring Association is made up of members from the Houston area organized for the purpose of educating the public and its members about the sport of soaring. GHSA is a non-profit corporation and is a chapter of the Soaring Society of America (SSA).

We fly year round and operate every weekend and holiday (weather permitting) from the GHSA Gliderport, just East of Wallis, Texas.  We provide instruction to our members and have programs for beginners and experienced pilots. We can prepare you for all your ratings up to Certified Flight Instructor - Glider.
